“Slogans in the Right Climate” Contest

THE CONTEST IS OVER!
1. 385 students of the Polish secondary and junior secondary schools sent us 670 slogans via the Internet or mail.
2. After long deliberations and despite contradictory opinions, the jury decided that:
- Cyryl Bryniarski, a student of a second year of John Paul II Junior Secondary School No.
-Aleksandra Trela, a student of a first year of the Junior Secondary School in Sędziszów, receives the second prize of PLN 300 for a slogan “The warmer, the muggier”
-Weronika Krzyśkow from John Paul II Junior Secondary School No.
“Slogans in the Right Climate” on Posters
The posters by Piotr Boczar, illustrating the rewarded slogans, were presented on the Climate Summit in Poznań in December 2008.
Contest: Logo for “I Choose Health!” Campaign
The contest aimed at inviting the participats to design a logo which, after professional graphic treatment, would become an official logo of the “I Choose Health!” campaign. The main idea behind the campaign is to promote healthy life style by proper nutrition and physical activity.
Photographic Contest – the Rural Issues
The Eco-Union Association organized a photographic contest concerning the rural issues in summer 2005. As a result, we received more than 100 photos. We chose the best works and rewarded their authors.
Blue Contest for Waste-Paper Collecting

The “BLUE CONTEST” for waste-paper collecting was annouced on 15 September and lasted until the end of November 2005. The contest was addressed to all educational institutions in Wrocław.
Information about it was channelled to these institions through the Education Department of Wrocław’s Municipal Office. We collected 14 tons of waste-paper during the entire action!!!
“Orange for the Earth” Contest
PLN 2 500 000 for the ecological education – the Eco-Union became the prizewinner of the grant contest “Orange for the Earth”. The aim of the contest was to initiate educational actions supporting waste management, particularly selective waste collecting and recycling, which would take local needs into consideration and live up to didactic and waste management standards.
